People behind Mal
Stephen Woodhouse joined the Mal team in 2006 where his first role was General Manager at Malmaison Oxford - the hotel where "everyone wants to stay".
In August 2007 he joined the Mal team in Birmingham as a Regional General Manager for Malmaison and Hotel du vin. These days, alongside being General Manager for Malmaison Birmingham, he also oversees the Hotel du Vin in Birmingham and Malmaison Oxford.
Stephen has worked within the Hospitality industry for the last 15 years and within this time has spent time working within Marriott, Crown Plaza and Sheraton.
In his free time, Stephen enjoys watching his son Jake play rugby, is an avid skiier and supports Manchester City FC.
